When I was in high school a friend of mine tried to get me involved in Manga world. But he failed. Now, five years later I'm getting interested. Part of the attraction is the fact that I had to learn how to read them, you know, I'm used to words but not images. Now things are under control, and I'm finding them interesting and relaxing, ha. So, apart from reading things for my thesis, now I'm into my third collection of Manga stories. It is called Monster and it is about a doctor who saved a boy and now he's trying to prevent him for commiting crimes...it's getting interesting.

In case you were wondering what I've been doing that keeps me apart from the blog, well... (finally) I've been working on my thesis.

It has not been as horrible as I thought it will be, ha.

Mona and the house

While I was editing some photos I noticed how Mona has become the queen of the house. Here some picture that exemplify this.

Here she is very comfortable in the middle of the bed. Of course I don't fit in there.

Here, she in the sofa, resting. As you can see, she needed the space occupied by the pillow so she throw it down.

But I must confess that she has been having a bad time. I took her to the vet two times this week and I had to left her alone a whole afternoon because I went to a family event. She's angry with me. My dear!!

So, Oasis's coming next November and it seems that I'm finally going to be able to attend to their show. I already got the tickets but something can happen in the way: November seems so far. Well, I've known these guys for six years but I've never have the chance to go. I hope they sing this song along with "Don't look back in anger" That's all I ask. I'm so happy :)

Lately, I've found myself wondering why el maestro guapo is no longer as handsome as he used to be. I'm serious, I'd like to know. Any theories?

new bag

Oh my God, I'm so delighted!!!! A couple of weeks ago I discovered a new store, full of bags of all seizes and colors. And there, I found this lovely bag that I've been using lately. It is perfect for school, and it is furry and blue and matchy. I love it.

revelations

Yesterday I bought Placebo's cd, Black Market Music, so now I can tell that my collection is complete. I must say that I am not as fan as I used to be but I'm happy to see all my cds together, one next to the other. In fact, while I was watching them I realize that that was the music I used to listen to 5 years ago, yes, 5 years ago I was super fan. Actually that fascination lasted a while, I mean, I still like them but not as before. I couldn't help but thinking in how time goes by, I'm not old-- maybe I'm just changing...

birthday

Today is my Mom's birthday. We had an amazing girly day. First we had breakfast and then we watched a movie. Then we went shopping, an activity that we find amusing, haha. We found a couple of nice skirts and some blouses. Let me tell you that we have a good taste together, haha. Afterwards we looked for a pair of shoes. We found a green pair that matches one of her new blouses. And there's more... we went to a beauty salon and had our hair and nails done. Now, we're resting after such a long day. Unfortunately, tomorrow we have to go back to work but totally stylish!

I love her, we had such a nice time!
