It seems that my excessive happines was due to a sugar overdose. Originally, I was happy but sugar did the rest, ho ho.
Apart from decorating my house and reading I've been going to the movies.

First a friend and I went to watch Inglorious Basterds. Lots of friends were talking about it so I felt curious. Pitt's accent is magnificent. The picture was better than what I expected but certain things reminded me other movies, not from Tarantino. Besides,I kept looking from resemblances between the German actors and American actors. I love the music. My favorite character: Hans Landa.

Yesterday, I went to watch Disgrace with another friend. This movie is based upon a book with the same name by J. M. Coetzee. I've read the book a couple of years ago and I really liked it. There were certains scenes, my favorites, that I still remember perfectly. Tough, Malkovich plays his part great, the story on the screen didn't seduce me as the story on paper. Obviously, the charcters were completely different inside my mind and all. On screen the story is fragmented and I don't know if it is easy to follow. The landscape is really beautiful and very well portrayed. In the end, I didn't like it.

Yesterday/Today I woke up feeling tremendously happy. No reason, apparentaly.

It didn't matter that I had to present two exams and work on my dissertation. I was happy. Plain happiness.

It Smells like Xmas

As the song says, I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes. Xmas is all around me....

Xmas decorations started. Tomorrow we'll go and buy the lights and other supplements that we need to finish this decorative task. Happiness. I love my house full of lights and the Xmas tree and all :)

Barbie's Car

Finding a new car starts to be a pain in the ass. Honestly I don't want one but it is kind of necessary in a big city like mine. I'd like to drive on my bicycle all day, but probably I'd be killed hit by a car in less than a minute.. drivers don't respect other drivers, iuk!

What I really want? To be a Barbie Girl once more!

So I finally went and watch 500 Days of Summer. It is this classic chick flick that I love, where the male character is the cutest and silliest young man in the world. The thing is that in real life, these guys are my type: I always go for the cute guys never for the rude, dangerous type. Never.
I was wondering if tv programs have influenced my likes, or they just reflect it. For example, the following are my favorite t.v characters (well, the ones I can think of at this moment)

1. Cory Matthews from a tv program Boy Meets World. He was the cute, naïve, honest boy, I would chose him over Shun

2. Seth Cohen from The OC. Please, this is a very clear example. The geek, cute, goofey guy. Intelligent and ironic who dresses cute. I would never chose Luke or Ryan

3. Henry Something from Dawson’s Creek. He was so obsessed with Jen. Again, geek and cute. Percy, I’ll never go for him, even if he looks like Joshua Jackson

4. Aidan from Sex and the City. I’ll never forgive Carry from cheating on him. He was so caring, nice, noble and cute

5. Joo Goon Pyo from Boys Before Flowers. Although he is rich and treats people awfully—he is the cutest person and is always caring for his beloved one. He will do everything for love. He finds it hard to show his feelings but that doesn’t keep him from being sweet. He is silly, intelligent.. PERFECT haha

I feel famous

It turns out that I was interviewed due to my participation at the Russian event I told you about. I had to dresses properly and all because my pic was to be taken. I felt so important. Anyways, I think it’s cool that the congress gets diffusion so next year more people gets involved. Autographs after the publication, haha
