As I noticed that I had some extra money I decided to spent it in clothes. so I went to see what sales had to me but it turn out to be nothing. I couldn't fine a single thing that I actually like or fit me. I felt disappointed, i was in a shopping mood :(

However, that event did not let me down. I bought Norah Jones' album Come Away with Me. It turn out to be better than a consolation buy. Actually the cd is quiet good. I know this album was realeased in 2002 but I haven't had the chance to buy it, but now it is in my hands. Her voice is amazing and the rhythm are so calm that are perfect or my actual mood. At the moment my favorite songs are "Don't Know Why" and "Come Away with Me". Now, I'm planning to buy a couple of cds that I've been wanting for some time.

About the room, I love the color. It is yellow like a sunflower. Love it, love it.

On Atonement

I finally watched Atonement and I couldn't help myself from prefering the book. The movie is beautiful but the novel is wonderfully written.

Lovely story, please read it.

ps. Knightey's performance did not convince me whereas McAvoy's impressed me.

free time

School is so over now. I've decided to take one week off and then start to work on my diploma thesis..that makes me feel so old. In the midtime, I've been living a life away from the computer. You have to undertand that for three weeks I was stuck in my house, in front of the computer, writing essays. That life is over... I guess I'll miss it.

So this time, I've been watching movies, one of my fab was Little Miss Sunshine-- so interesting. I, also, watched Batman Begins. I liked it.. basically how it deals with the figure of the hero. They seemed more interested in presenting us how Batman's identity is constructed instead if him just beating the bad guys.. let's see what happens with The Dark Knight. It called my attention that two of the Batman girls have become wives to Tom Cruise..is Maggie Gyllenhaal the next one?

Also, I went to see Salvador Dali's exhibition.. I'm not entirely sure if it is a good idea to display fragments of the exhibition in different parts of the city. I guess more people manage to see it but they don't see it complete, which is a shame. But well, I manage to see everything: what was in downtown and the part out and inside the museum. Here, one of my fab pieces.

Besides, I've been meeting with old and new friends..the gossip has been really good. Also, I've been able to do some serious shopping, I'll show you my purchases later. Now I'm watching Nana. Melisa, so kindly lend me the dvd... I love their voices and the songs.

Mona had a quiet birthday. She simply ate a lot of her favorite things. We'll go to her favorite park when the wheather gets better; for instance, today has been rainning the whole day.
