1. I bit my nails in a compulsive way. I even stop doing things in order to bit my nails comfortably.

2. When it's dark and I have to go downstairs I turn on all the lights. I know it is environmentally incorrect but I can't walk in the dark.

4. I always knock the door twice and wait for the second ring to answer the phone.

5. I'm always counting my money.

6. I don't care if my life depends on that, I don't wear earrings.

the flu and other purchases

I'm feeling better now but I had to stay home because of the flu. Grrr. Can't believe it happened to me during sprig. But actually there were reasons to get sick, if such a thing is possible. So today I slept a lot. Tomorrow I'm coming back to school and to my daily activities. I promise I'll take care of myself.

Let me show you other things I bought last Sunday. The shirt is mainly blue- pale blue with fuicsa, pink and beige. The skirt is brown and it's lovely. I'll wear it as soon as I feel better.

I'm trying to justify my current obsession for flats. The only thing that comes to my mind is that they are, for me, a transition from trainers to shoes. However, if I want to make the final step I must start to buy shoes with heels...not so high, of course. So I promise that I would stop looking for flats and I'll pay attention to what the world has to offer. I don't want me to take another 20 years to actually buy high heels. But I'm sorry to tell u that this is a resolution that I've just made. So, when I went shopping last Sunday I couldn't stop myself from buying........flats.

I'm 22 years-old and it's the first time I posses something from Disney. It's true. I don't know where I was during my childhood or why my mom never bought me anything. Today, I was shopping and I found this lovely t-shirt that I simply couldn't leave behind

Last Wednesday I went to Aleks Syntek's concert. I went with a friend called Luis and we had a great time. We had the chance to hear our favorite songs and to enjoy the performance of another artists. Also, we had the chance to talk and catch up about our lives.

Aleks Syntek is a Mexican artist who I admire because of his versatility. He composes and writes all his songs and plays several instruments. He is innovative and enjoys experimenting. Most of his songs are related to love and life. Also, he has managed to built a carrer separeted from gossip..his talent is all that matters. And he's really talented.

He started the concert on time, he invited other singers and he played several music instruments and played my favorite song. I must say it was a lovely night.

About other things, the end of the semester is coming. Teachers are starting to talk about final essays and exams. Actually, I have an exam for next Tuesday on XVIII century literature. I must study hard. And as usual I have tons of things to read.

This is Mitla. This place is interesting because the architecture was re-used by the Spanish people to built a Catholic churche. So if you visit the place you can see how the cultures merge.

I've been really busy this weekend.

On Friday night I met a friend that I hadn't seen for ages. We had a nice time and an excellent conversation. On Saturday I had to drive a lot to get home and also to get my picture taken with all my classmates. It was soooo funny. Today I did some house work and now I'm going to study because I have an exam next Tuesday: Prehispanic art. To much information.

Yesterday night I went to see Jumper. Oh my God, it's such a terrible movie. The special effects are amazing but just that. The story is simple and ends in a fast and unbelievable way. What I can't believe is how young Hayden Christensen looks. It's amazing, he's 27 and looks like an eighteen years-old boy. I want his beauty products. Hayden's character reminded me of Pip from Great Expectations...risking everything for the woman he loves since he was 10. He should get a life.

And

I also did some purchases. There's this store that I like called Young Art. They have nice schoolbags and notebooks and cute little things. I went and bought:

I know it's too late for presenting spring/summer collections but as I was reading a fashion magazine I discovered Cavalli's dresses and I simply fell in love. Here some examples of what I'm talking about.
